We recommend that your remove the hinges on your door prior to inviting us over, but if you choose not to we know an old trick to get the job done right anyway! By rubbing a layer of Vaseline on the door hinges, the paint can be easily removed with a rag when painting is finished. Additionally, our painters clean and sand your doorframe prior to any priming or painting for a smooth and even finish. Our painters use a wood putty solution to fill any holes or dents in your doorframe, and sand the dried putty down with the rest of the wood. After multiple sandings, a layer of caulk, and a layer of primer we apply two coats of paint from top to bottom to protect against unsightly drip marks.
